GRAVE
LOCATION
The
rows of graves are marked by letters affixed to the north-side fence
beginning with A at the row nearest the tabernacle. Numbers are
affixed to the fence along the east side next to the tabernacle
beginning with number 1 near the northeast corner.
Each
grave location will be indicated by a letter and a number. For
example; a grave marked A1 (the first row, A) + (the first plot on
that row, 1) would be in the northeast corner of the cemetery.
Of
necessity, each letter-number coordinate represents a plot large
enough to contain more than one grave so all graves within that plot
will bear the same letter-number coordinate.
When
(if) the directory is completed corresponding letters and numbers
will appear on the directory.
To
get the general location of a grave that you visit: go to the grave
then walk from the grave along the row to the fence while counting
your steps. Note the closest letter you see on the fence. Now go to
the fence corner and walk along the east fence the number of steps
that you counted from the grave to the fence. Record the closest
number on the fence. The letter and number that you have recorded
will give the approximate coordinate of the grave.
